I originally bought this chandelier for my dining room, but ended up hanging it in my two story foyer when I saw how large it was. It is very attractive, well-made, and light for its size. However, unless you have extremely high ceilings (10 feet or higher), buy the smaller size for a dining room. It is a lot taller than it appears in the picture.

This chandelier was my second choice. The other one i just kept hesitating on because of the size. This one was 3 inches smaller. (Still a large piece, though) It fits my dining room perfectly. I like a fixture a little on the larger size, it looks very impressive without looking gaudy. I LOVE its graceful curves. I could change the look of it with lampshades but it throws alot of light the way it is. Love, Love it!

open so it is good even over a larger round table for four.
