This is a nice looking fan, with little effort to put together.
The only frustrating aspect is the pull chain for the fan - It isnt usable if you drop it thru the hole in the light fixture. The angle makes it un-usable to pull. - I just pulled the chain out of the glass bowl and all is well.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
