I purchased a total of 7 Kichler light fixtures to replace the older ones on my home. These were the last two that we installed and, up to that point, we were extremely pleased. First off, you have to put the glass into the fixture yourself and that in itself is a task. The fixtures have fiberglass on the top and you have to struggle and fight with the glass pieces while you install them. There were several times we were sure the glass would break and all the while you are working more and more of the fiberglass onto yourself. Then, after install, the light is not flush against the ceiling. Our older, uglier fixtures actually have more of a flush mounting than these.

Lights are OK. Only problem was when screwing lens to base nuts would strip easily and spin. Nuts were pressed into base. I purchased seven of these fixtures. This problem occurred on two or three of the seven.
