Well, there are no moving parts. We put it up. It works. It looks great! The online photograph didn't do justice to the subtle rainbow color effect in the glass. It looks good whether it is on or off.

We purchased the wall sconces to match but the colors of the sconce's glass and the porch light do not match??? the color is ok when lighted just a bit disapointed.
