The instructions were very poor.

We were looking to replace some really old sconces flanking our fireplace. These did the trick! The finish looks a little cheap, and during install it left black marks on our freshly painted wall. I recommend putting a paper towel under the bottom arm while you are installing so you don't have to touch up your walls! The only real problem I have with the sconces is that they are not identical. They look the same, but the bottom arm touches the wall on one side, but there is about a 3/4" space on the other side.. it bothers me a bit, but since no one else will probably notice I didn't bother to go through the hassle and pay to send them back for an exchange. Another minor flaw is that the bulb sticks up over the glass, again not a deal breaker! For the money this is a great sconce! If I had paid more these small issues would have made me send them back.

I bought 4 of these sconces and put them in a bathroom over a large black-framed mirror. They look wonderful and I added dimmers, so the lighting affect is superb. I am very happy with this purchase.

This wall sconce was not as substantial as I thought it'd be. Look carefully at the measurements before ordering and map it out on your wall so you'll get an idea of how it looks. The photo on the website makes it look bigger and higher quality than it really is...but it is nice and we're keeping it!
