They're very good looking lamps and the finish and glass pieces are attractive. The glass however is on the cheap side. It feels very thin and delicate and is not attached to the lamp base at all. It's a single piece of glass that just rests precariously atop the base. The only thing keeping it from just sliding off at the slightest bump is the bulb inside the inner glass wall. That ring you see at the inside bottom is just that, a metal ring that slips over the inner tube and falls to the bottom where the two glass tubes are joined into one.

I refinished my bathroom a year ago, I installed these lights myself. They were up within minutes and look great. I highly recommend these and this site.

The wall sconce is great but the companion flush mount/entry fixture is too small scale for most entry ways
